Vasty is an artist from Argentina, based in Barcelona.
His practice explores the tension between vitality and stillness, creating forms that suggest movement and energy while retaining a sense of calm and fragility. Currently centered on sculpture, his work evolves through an intuitive process driven by curiosity about human existence and our relationship with other forms of life and matter. Through the interplay of volume and void, he develops biomorphic forms that hover between abstraction and evocative figuration.
His works emerge as singular presences that evoke life, offering glimpses of something recognizable without ever fully revealing it. This ambiguity challenges our instinct to identify and classify what we see, momentarily shifting the human perspective away from the center and inviting a slower, more contemplative gaze—a moment of stillness that opens space for curiosity, empathy, and introspection.
